General

Effective September 15, 2021, Green Island Management LLC, Aquatic Charters of Maui, Inc. DBA Green Island Charters, and all of its representatives are governed by the State of Hawaii and any federal United States regulations that supersede those of the state.

All customers of Green Island Charters will be subject to United States Coast Guard regulations, State of Hawaii regulations, and all applicable marine guidelines, and rules. These are subject to change and will be reflected in a mandatory waiver of all risk, liability, and acknowledgments of the excursions and service offerings of Green Island Charters. Guests aboard Green Island Charters vessel, or under its charge, will not be permitted to take part in excursions or services if all regulations are not abided by. 

Refund/Cancellation Policy

We pride ourselves on offering completely customizable, private charters. To ensure we can meet all of your needs we have the following cancellation/refund policy in place:

A small deposit will be collected at the time of booking. This is to hold your date and allows us to begin preparations for your excursion.

Upon booking, your payment method will be verified to ensure its validity. We will not charge your card on file for the full or remaining amount of your trip until 7 days prior to your scheduled activity time. 

Example: Your trip is Saturday morning at 7:30 AM. Your card on file will be charged the Saturday prior.

If your payment method is invalid at the time of charging we will do our best to contact you and collect payment within 24 hours. We reserve the right to cancel your trip at any point after the  payment fails. Do not worry! We get that things happen. We will do our best to communicate with you leading up to your activity so everything is in order. 

7 days prior to your trip: cancellations will result in the loss of your deposit. Cancellations before this will result in your deposit being fully refunded to your original form of payment. Any schedule changes at this point may result in your deposit being forfeited.

5 days or less prior to your trip: cancellations will result in the full price of your trip being charged. Changes to your reservation are subject to availability and are offered at our sole discretion.

NO CANCELLATIONS ACCEPTED VIA EMAIL. Please call us at 808-500-8685 to ensure we receive your cancellation notice.

We are a small, family-run business. We have policies in place to ensure we can continue to offer memorable and safe experiences. But we know things will come up! Please call us and we will do everything we can to accommodate you and your group if you need to cancel or reschedule.

We go rain or shine, so long as it is safe to do so. All excursion locations are weather dependent. Come prepared for any weather and to have fun in a beautiful place! No refunds will be offered if locations are unavailable due to weather or if it is the guest’s choice to cancel the trip prior to departure or to dock early because of weather or seasickness. Quantity of fish caught on fishing trips are not guaranteed. Whale or marine life sightings are not guaranteed. 

The Captain will not depart and will dock early if the weather or conditions make it unsafe to continue. A full refund or reschedule will take place if the Captain deems the weather/conditions are unsafe to depart. Partial refunds will be offered at our discretion if trips must be ended early due to unsafe conditions. We will always do our best to reschedule groups to ensure the full experience of our charters can be had by all. 

Due to the nature of third party bookings, we are not always able to offer changes to your scheduled activities if you book through a concierge or activity agent. Please ensure that you are familiar with our cancellation policy as well as the policy of the service you are using.

COVID-19 Policy

Please contact us should your trip be impacted due to COVID-19. We will evaluate each situation on a case-by-case basis and do our best to ensure you can join us on an excursion once all regulations are complied with. Options available to guests: credit for future activity with Green Island Charter, reschedule your activity as soon as no one in your party is positive with COVID-19 or under federal and/or state mandated quarantine, or as a last resort, a full refund will be provided if you are within our cancellation term. None of these options are guarantees but we assure you that we will come up with a solution that is unique to your circumstances. 

Service Offerings

Green Island Charters offers 6-passenger, private boat charters with fishing, snorkeling, and swimming available. These services cannot be rendered outside of the agreed upon date and are not able to be delivered physically. They will be conducted at the above noted location. Services cannot be transferred to other parties without prior approval of Green Island Charters.  

All transactions are conducted in USD and will be charged by Aquatic Charters of Maui, Inc.
